Do you hold a qualification that requires you to be registered with a regulated council, a mental health or social work qualification and fancy a challenge in a new project, shaping a service? We are looking for a dynamic individual who can take lead and develop a new team for a mental health service. The role will involve liaising with the mental health ward, organising discharges into to community and structuring their level of support. A new training schedule will need to be implemented for a new team of workers, also completing regular reviews and de-briefs. As part of your role, you will be required to contact relevant professionals, complete thorough documentation and relay information to other teams and departments.

This role is mainly Monday to Friday 9 – 5 but this could be flexible. It would also involve rotational weekend duty manager responsibilities.

Our ideal candidate:

Previous experience in the Mental Health sector
Great communication skills
A background in nursing is preferred

Essential Skills:

Full, clean driving license and own transport
NVQ LEvel 3 in Health and Social Care
Clinical Qualification
Mental Health Qualification
