About the role
Trefula House is a residential care home with nursing, providing personal care and support for up to 28 people. It is divided into 2 areas, which comprise of a 20 bed dementia unit and a further 8 bed unit on the ground floor. The care team work together across both areas. Each area has its own communal spaces and dining areas. There are bath and shower facilities which are specially adapted for those that need assistance. The home has well-tended gardens, where the residents have secure access to outside spaces including an area which has been specially adapted for people who are on their journey with dementia.
As part of our home management team, you will have overall management of your shift, helping the home and staff maintain the highest quality standard of care and customer service under your supervision to NMC standards. You will play a vital role in the management, development and motivation of your team, coaching and developing them to high performance and helping the home create an inclusive and positive environment where our residents can thrive.
Your role will encompass creating personalised care plans, reporting any changes in residents’ health and well-being through the correct professional channels, assisting in the promotion of continence. You will also supervise the care of residents who are dying or have a progressive illness and support their families in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Trefula House supports training and supervision of new staff members in all aspects of their work in the Nursing Home.
About you
We are looking for you to bring:
Qualified Nurse (NMC) with up to date nursing theory & best practice (to level 5) and a valid PIN
Experience of effectively managing others within a nursing environment
Background of improving performance in accordance with NMC standards & best practice
A can do and proactive attitude to work and customer centred approach
Current right to work in the UK; Corserv Care is not a licensed sponsor – currently we are unable to offer Certificates of Sponsorship.

Salary: £20.54 per hour
Working Hours: Days or Nights available 36.75 hours – 12.25 shifts with paid breaks.
