Location: Newquay
Former mental health nurse with a great sense of humour seeks a patient & compassionate personal assistant, with an even greater sense of humour, to support her with some light housework duties such as cleaning bathroom, changing linen, hoovering and laundry. She has a visual impairment, is recovering from 2 strokes and a spinal trauma.
Support required:
– Accessing community & supporting independence with shopping
– Some personal care i.e. washing hair/shower
– Household support
– Meal preparation
Hourly rate of pay: £10.90 or £13.54 (If self-employed)
Hours per week: 20 hours
Working schedule
Monday – Friday: 4 hours per day –
Start times will be discussed and given a set structure throughout the week.
Essential:
– Previous experience in a support role
– Someone who takes pride in their work and has good organisational skills
