The Department of Health and Social Care’s (DHSC) adult social care recruitment campaign starts again in October 2019. Following feedback from the last campaign it will run for six months until April 2020.
The ‘Every Day is Different’ campaign will continue to inspire people to apply for jobs in adult social care by improving awareness and understanding of what working in social care is all about.
It’s a high-profile opportunity to collectively raise the profile of adult social care and highlight the personal and professional rewards of working in a growing sector. The advertising is evolving to reflect feedback and represent more realistic scenarios and continue to celebrate the sector in its diversity and breadth.
The updated advertising will be promoted across outdoor posters, online TV adverts, radio, social media and digital channels, as well as PR and partnerships activity. Find out more and see what you can do to support and benefit from the campaign in the latest update from DHSC here.
Skills for Care is encouraging all social care employers to get involved to help find motivated people with the right values to fill their vacancies. The campaign in isolation won’t improve recruitment but it will improve awareness and understanding of what working in social care is all about. Employers will need to think about how their own recruitment processes can effectively convert this new pool of interested people into recruits. See the resources Skills for Care has to help you.
