Description
A thoroughly lovely gentleman in the Truro area is looking for a PA to compliment his current support network. A firm advocate of social justice and human rights, the client is looking for some support ensuring he is ready for the day. The client would prefer a PA who has had a good deal of life experience as well as lots of experience in the care/support sector. The successful applicant will be calm, empathetic, considerate in how they communicate and able to work in a Trauma Informed way. Someone with a knowledge of BSL and/or Makaton would be advantageous but not essential.

β Reminders about personal care
β Being an advocate when interacting with professionals
β Supporting with social inclusion
β Light shopping duties
Personal Attributes
As outlined above, the successful applicant will have a wealth of experience. This does not necessarily have to be of a professional manner, but someone who has βlived a lifeβ. They will preferably be a female, with great skills in communicating and adapting their communication when required. Ideally, you will be a self-reflective person who is aware of your own limitations and triggers.
Essential Requirements:
- Great communication skills
- Relevant Training/Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations.
- DBS Check, references and standard training (can be provided free)
- Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
- Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
