Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Personal Assistant
💷 Hourly Rate: £15.84
⏳ Hours per Week: 12
📅 Schedule: Mon and Fri 1000 – 1600
📍 Location: Penzance
A lovely young man in the Penzance area is looking for some support with getting out and about in
his local community. The client has some quite complex needs and can take a while to become
comfortable with someone, but once he is, then there will be no stopping him! Described as
“cheeky” by those that know him, he thrives on good humour and banter.
He is looking for someone to accompany him when out and about, visiting café’s and new places.
The two of you will have to do some research regarding these places, as the client is very much a
stickler for hygiene so a 5 star food hygiene rating is absolutely essential!
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Support to access the community
✔ Budgeting assistance
✔ Encouragement to pursue hobbies and interests
✔ Assistance with time management skills
✔ Creating and maintaining a positive relationship
Essential Requirements:
 Great communication skills
 Relevant Training/Qualifications
 Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
 Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected
situations.
 Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
 Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
