We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 19-year-old young adult with organic brain damage (likely Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder β FASD) and autism, who also has a learning disability. She has good communication skills and will often communicate through her babies.
The client is looking for a PA who will enhance their quality of life by encouraging them to pursue their interests, facilitating communication and ensuring their daily activities are enjoyable fulfilling.
Key Responsibilities:
β Support during morning routines
β Assisting with communication using preferred methods
β Encouragement to pursue hobbies and interests such as swimming
β Promoting independence
Essential Requirements:
¨     Great communication skills
¨     Relevant Training/Qualifications
¨     Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
¨     Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations.
¨     Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
¨     Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
