Learn how to professionally design and prepare engaging recruitment content for the care sector using Canva – the free, easy-to-use online design tool. This course will teach you how to create attention-grabbing job adverts, staff testimonials, and promotional graphics for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.

Starting from the basics, you’ll learn how to open a blank canvas and build your designs with images, text, styles, and effects that speak to your target audience. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident producing professional, effective recruitment materials that help you attract the right candidates and showcase your organisation’s values.

  • Create engaging staff testimonial graphics and “day in the life” visuals
  • Edit and enhance images to reflect a warm, professional care environment

How You’ll Learn

Falmouth University online short courses are delivered through Microsoft Teams for a seamless and interactive learning experience. Each session begins with a live broadcast from your tutor, guiding you through the topic and resources. You’ll learn through a mix of live demonstrations and practical exercises. The tutor will remain online to answer your questions and give real-time support.

This blended approach combines live teaching with pre-recorded content, allowing you the flexibility to learn at your own pace while still benefiting from interactive elements.

Every learner on this course will be offered a free follow-up session with the tutor to provide support after the course has finished and the learning is being put into action.
