Grant funding now available for CQC registered adult social care providers to digitise
To support CQC registered adult social care providers to digitise, grant funding has been made available through the Government’s Digitising Social Care (DiSC) Programme, to enable registered care providers to implement:
- A digital social care record (DSCR) solution
- Sensor-based falls technology
- Future technologies
The Digitising Social Care Records Programme is aiming for all CQC registered adult social care providers to have access to a digital social care record that links with a local Shared Care Record by 2024. These records will play an important role in joining up care across social care and the NHS, better equipping the workforce with the right information they need to deliver quality care and support to residents of Cornwall.
Locally, this programme of work will be led and managed by Cornwall Council’s Care and Wellbeing directorate, with support from our external strategic delivery partner, Channel 3 Consulting.
To access this funding, Cornwall Council would like to invite all CQC registered care providers to engage in discussions with our strategic delivery partner who will support implementation. To arrange a conversation with Channel 3, please contact joel.trounce@channel3consulting.co.uk and Dharmesh.Patel@channel3consulting.co.uk.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the Commissioning team, contractadults@cornwall.goy.uk
