About the role

Working in our friendly teams in the Penzance area, enabling the people you support to increase their independence and live life in the way they choose.

We have opportunities in three of our supported living settings. Two support gentlemen living in their own homes.  Both have a variety of interests, and abilities.  The things they enjoy include, getting out and about, swimming, football, computers and gaming as well as spending time with family and friends.

The third is to support two gentleman and a lady in all aspects of daily living, including epilepsy, PEG feeding, and moving & handling.  Their health complexities and day to day needs do not get in the way of enjoying a wide variety of interests and accessing their local communities to do things they enjoy and need.

About you

You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.

You have the option of working additional hours (£10.50 – £10.73 p/h) or sleep-ins at £60 extra per sleep-in, in a range of services.

Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
