To assist service users with their personal care, such as bathing, dressing, cleaning of dentures, cleaning of glasses, washing hair, toileting, emptying of catheters and shaving etc.
household tasks to include all normal household cleaning as long as it does not involve climbing on chairs, ladders or any job that could be construed as dangerous.
Meal preparations: to be carried out according to Health and hygiene guidelines. Food is to be prepared, cooked if required and served in a presentable manner.
To deal with laundry as instructed.
Shopping, which must be carried out in a professional manner ensuring receipts are provided for the service users. Money to be collected from service users for their contribution to the service will be as per instruction from the office and must be handed into the office each and every week. Service Users receipt forms must be signed at the time of collection.
Prompt Service Users when instructed, to take their medications.
To help individual service users develop their level of personal and social skills.
To report into the office any concerns regarding the service user immediately.
To treat all service users, their visitors, both professional and otherwise, with respect.
To use personal protective equipment as issued.

Our ideal candidate:our ideal candidate would be of a caring nature, and be able to follow instructions to help our service users live independently in their own homes.
Essential Skills:A driving licence would be useful but I also employ walkers . A positive mental attitude as well as a sense of humour is a must
