Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour
Overtime Rate: +£2 on usual hourly rate.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to be recruiting a Support Worker to support individuals within our service in St. Austell.
About the Role:
This role is diverse and needs someone who can provide support and care to various people throughout their working day.
Each person has their own flat and receives a level of 1:1 support delivery at different times of the day and have access to a shared support hub.
The hub is a unique dimension to Supported Living and you will be supporting individuals as a point of contact, with their planned activities and personal care requirements, as well as moving & handling people and providing distress behaviour support (when required). The role would involve supporting aspects of day-to-day living, personal care and accessing the community. Support with planning meals, medication administration and most importantly developing relationships with family and peers.
We are looking for someone who can engage with different personalities and bring energy, adaptability, and commitment to a support role where every day is different. Yesterday you may have been watching a show at the Theatre in Plymouth. Today you may be supporting with daily living skills and shopping, and tomorrow, you may find yourself in Charlestown drinking coffee.
There is the opportunity to work directly with people depending on your interest and skills.
We also look at a combination of 1:1 support hours with individuals with complex needs and there will be times when you will be part of our core background support and delivering 2:1 support for specific tasks with individuals. You will need to be comfortable with supporting with personal care.
