Please note: This role is a private arrangement with a person or family seeking support. You will not be employed by Humans Cornwall but will work directly with the individual or their family. This role involves helping someone achieve their goals, maintain independence, and manage daily tasks. The position is funded privately by the family/person or via a Direct Payment from Cornwall Council.
📍 Location: Launceston (North Petherwin)
💷 Rate: £15.84 per hour
⏳ Hours: 40 hours per week
📅 Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Sunday
Are you a compassionate, professional, and reliable Personal Assistant looking for a fulfilling role? A lady on the outskirts of Launceston is seeking two dedicated PAs to support her both at home and within the community. She requires 24-hour oxygen support and uses a wheelchair for mobility.
She enjoys sewing, embroidery, and arts & crafts and would love support in accessing her community, including shopping trips, coffee outings, and lunch dates.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Assist with personal care
✔ Prepare meals and provide household domestic support
✔ Accompany and assist in community outings
✔ Plan and engage in activities
Essential Requirements:
🔹 Public Liability Insurance (if self-employed)
🔹 Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
🔹 Eligibility to work in the UK
🔹 Trustworthy, patient, and caring nature
🔹 Flexibility to provide cover when needed
🔹 Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
