A thoroughly lovely gentleman in Threemilestone is looking for a PA to compliment his current support network. A firm advocate of social justice and human rights, the gentleman is looking for some support to work flexibly but typically working on a Thursday, Saturday and Sunday this may include some evenings. Y
The gentleman loves music, particularly from the 60’s, 70s and 80’s. He would love the chance to go and see more live music and performances. As a proud Cornishman he’s an avid rugby fan and would love to enjoy some matches with someone.
The gentleman would prefer a PA who has had a good deal of life experience and experience in the care/support sector. The gentleman has lots of gifts and talents to share. He’s got a wicked sense of humour and people who know him enjoy spending time with him.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ The biggest responsibility is supporting the gentleman to get out and about and live his best life.
✔ Supporting with social inclusion
✔ Support with life admin
✔ Reminders about personal care
✔ Being an advocate when interacting with professionals
✔ Light shopping duties
Personal Attributes
As outlined above, the successful applicant will have a wealth of experience. This does not necessarily have to be of a professional nature, but someone who has “lived a life”. They will preferably be a female, with great skills in communicating. Someone who has experience of supporting people with mental health problems would be essential.
Essential Requirements:

¨ Relevant Training/Qualifications
¨ Eligibility to work in the UK
¨ Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations.
¨ DBS Check, references and standard training (can be provided free)
¨ Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
¨ Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
