Mature gentleman 53 requires care staff, preferably 2 part time staff up to 24 hours per week, holiday and extra cover will be available throughout the year.
The gentleman has Muscular Dystrophy; he is a fulltime wheelchair user and requires support to help him to live independently. Duties will include getting him in and out of bed, all aspects of personal care, washing/showering/dressing and toileting, support with meal preparation, light housework, attending meetings and appointments, shopping and support when visiting friends and family and support when out in his wheelchair for woodland walks etc.
