Job Purpose
- The role of the House Keeper is to assist our teams in delivering an exceptional experience to residents to live full, happy and healthy lives. You will be proud to deliver excellent house keeping standards across the Home
Main duties and Responsibilities
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Making beds and changing linens
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Requirements
- Kind, caring and compassionate in nature
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standard
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment
- Ability to communicate and interact well with residents and others
- Cleaning and maintaining resident’s bedrooms and communal area to make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements, while providing a comfortable space for residents and employees.
