These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Hayle, Cornwall
Lady in Cornwall who loves raising her children, seeks a kind and empathetic personal assistant to support her at home. Lady has a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome – joint hypermobility/joint pain, migraines and has reduced mobility.
Support required:
– Support with personal care
– Preparing meals
– General housework, including cleaning and laundry
– Creating a safe place for the children
– Getting the children into their car seats
– Tidy and maintain the family home
– Support with bedtime routine for children
Hourly rate of pay: £12 – £14.72 (If self-employed)
Total hours: 28hrs per week
Weekly Schedule: Monday – Sunday
Mornings – 7:15am – 9:15am
Evenings – 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Essential:
· A proactive and caring approach, willing to adapt to the needs of the person you are supporting.
· Experience working or spending time with younger children.
· Reliability as this is a long-term position.
Desirable:
· Previous support role experience
· Non-smoker preferable
