These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Hayle
We’re looking for a friendly and caring personal assistant to support a young man. He’s looking for someone who is patient, kind, and understanding to help him grow in confidence, both at home and out in the community. Do you enjoy music, play a musical instrument, like walking and swimming? If so, this might be the role for you.
Support required:
· Provide company and support to the young man
· Support with Personal Care.
· Supporting with washing where required.
Rate and support hours:
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 9 hours per week
Schedule: Monday or Tuesday afternoon for 5 hours per week, then 4 hours per week one evening per week.
Essential criteria:
· A valid driving licence
· Caring, honest, trustworthy nature
· Compassion, patience and understanding
· Business Use Car Insurance – This is free to change for most people if not already held
