You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Newbridge (Penzance)
Lady in Newbridge (Penzance) seeks a diligent personal assistant with a sense of humour to assist her with her day-to-day life. She has 1 dog (a collie) and 3 cats, so applicants must be okay around animals. The lady is an amputee and has been diagnosed with chronic depression.
Support required:
· Some housework e.g. laundry
· Personal support i.e. assistance with showering
· Accessing community
Hourly rate of pay: 10.90 or 13.54 (if self-employed)
Total hours per week: 30 hours; Days/ times to be negotiated. This role is for one person, please only apply if you are interested in covering all the hours.
Essential:
– Full driving licence (for accessing rural location of property)
