You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *

Sociable lady who likes going out seeks a personal assistant to encourage and support her to develop her independent living skills. She has learning disabilities and is looking for someone patient and proactive.
Support required:
· Support to develop living skills – cooking, going out, using public transport, etc.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.72
Hours per week: 20
Working schedule:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, with the occasional weekend
Around 6 hours each day
Essential:
· Valid DBS
· Public Liability Insurance
· Driving licence
· Previous experience in a support role
· Knowledge or experience supporting people with learning disabilities
· Must be self-employed
