support for someone else or themselves. You will not be employed by or carry
out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private
personal assistants for care and support. These roles are personally assisting
somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily
lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a
Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Near Penzance
Woman who loves dogs seeks a mature personal assistant to
support her with household duties and enjoying days out. She has
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and so will require
a healthy PA to ensure the sustainability of her health.
Support required:
Cleaning
Gardening
Day trips
Dog walking
Hourly rate of pay: To be negotiated
Hours per week: 7 hours a week – can be negotiable and flexible as well
as possibly increased in future. Can be 1-3 hours a day, a full day, or other
Essential:
Must be self-employed
Driving Licence
Valid DBS
Public Liability Insurance
Must be comfortable around dogs
Offers of employment may be subject to DBS checks & referencing. If the role is
