These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: Scorrier
Social young lady, who loves animals and has learning difficulties, is looking for an active and outgoing personal assistant to support her in activities.
Support required:
· Access to community – activities, swimming, gym
· Going for walks with her and her dogs
· Meal preparation
· Taking to appointments
Hourly rate of pay: £13.50 (employed) or £14.50 (self-employed)
Hours per week: 30+ hours
Working schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays, with the possibility of an occasional weekend. Days can be flexible.
Morning start – 8am
8 – 10 hours per day
Essential:
· Driving Licence
· Valid DBS
· Flexible
· Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities
· Good sense of humour
Start date: End of July
