Young person is seeking a personal assistant to encourage her to become more independent as well as supporting with everyday tasks. She is a wheelchair user and is partially sighted and would like someone who is proactive and can use their initiative.
Support required:
· Support with morning routine – getting up and dressed, helping get into the shower
· Support with catheter bag
· Breakfast/meal preparation
· Light cleaning – tidying bedroom, changing bed, laundry
· Access to community – must drive her mobility vehicle
· Shopping
· Take to appointments
Hourly rate of pay: £12 (employed) or £14.72 (self-employed)
Hours per week: 16
Working schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 9am – 5pm
This can alternate, and may not be every weekend, Possibility to cover annual leave and sick leave during weekdays for other PAs.
Essential:
· Driving licence
· Valid DBS
