These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council. *
Location: St. Ives
Former head chef who loves cooking & animals, who has 2 cats, seeks a fun-loving self-employed personal assistant with a positive energy to proactively support her at home and in the community. She has a diagnosis of diabetes, fibromyalgia and is physically disabled following an accident.
Support required:
– Meal preparation
– Household & domestic tasks
– Shopping i.e. taking out to the supermarket or support with ordering food
– Personal care
– Attending appointments
Hourly rate of pay: £17.00
Hours per week: 14 hours – hours are flexible and can be increased to cover any holiday or absence of her second personal assistant.
Working schedule:
Afternoons preferred; start times potentially around 1/2pm but can be discussed.
Essential:
– Full driving licence
– The lady smokes, so any applicants must be comfortable around someone who smokes; however, the lady does not smoke in the homes communal areas
– Previous experience in a support role
