To lead on the delivery of the company’s strategy, vision and values which reflects the high standards set both in respect of the level of care we provide to the people we support and our staff.
Oversee the efficient day-to-day running of each service in line with Rainbow Support’s policies and procedures.
Ensure that each service promotes a caring environment for the people we support through high standards of professional practice, which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the people supported.
To ensure their service staff are carrying out all the duties listed in their Job Descriptions in line with company policy and procedures.
To ensure that each supported person receives care and support appropriate to their individual need
To ensure that the service teams follow all the requirements of the Fundamental Standards of Quality and Safety published in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and any other relevant legislation.
To support the service teams to plan and deliver excellent person centered support to the individuals in our care.
To ensure the effective induction, supervision, assessment appraisals and development of all service staff. Supporting the recruitment and retention of service staff, developing each employee enabling them to reach their full potential.
To contribute to the company’s growth and development plans by managing to the highest level of quality, person centered, continually evolving and improving services with operational staff and other stakeholders.
To ensure the governance processes are implemented and used so that the service achieves its full compliance obligations as demanded by the CQC Commissioners and other regulated bodies.
To liaise closely with the Directors of Rainbow Support Limited to achieve the company’s short term and long term goals.
To maintain a high standard of professional conduct, encouraging and motivating other members of staff by personal example and promoting good staff morale.
Our ideal candidate:An individual who has experience managing supported living services for Adults with Learning Disability with a flexible can do attitude.
You must share our values and be respectful of people’s differences, you must be committed to helping others develop and grow whilst supporting your team.
Essential Skills:Care Certificate qualification held.
Level 5 Diploma held (willing to work towards).
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and to observe and record factual information.
